From Vision to Execution

  • Typically 6 to 9 months
  • For executive teams
  • On site and online
  • Tailored to measure

Strategy and execution in one guided track. We build the AI strategy and execution plan with your leadership team, set up the program office, governance and benefits tracking, and get the first initiatives under way. Scope, phases and pace are agreed with you before we start.

Is this for you?

Who it is for

Leadership teams that want the strategy and its execution set up in one go, or that already have a strategy but no structure to deliver it. If you already have a strategy, for example from AI Strategy for Enterprise, we start from it and the engagement is shorter.

Group size

The executive team of 6 to 12 leaders, plus the future workstream leads, finance and HR.

Prior knowledge

None required.

Core objectives

  1. 01Build the AI strategy, or complete the one you have: ambition, initiatives, value cases checked by finance and an 18-month roadmap
  2. 02Turn it into an execution plan per workstream: AI projects, data foundations, platform, people and skills, and governance
  3. 03Set up the program office, with a fixed rhythm of decisions
  4. 04Put governance and benefits tracking in place, measured against today's figures
  5. 05Prepare the organization for change, and get the first initiatives under way
Why it matters

The gap between an approved AI strategy and the first results is where many companies lose momentum: workstreams lack owners, budgets are unclear and nobody runs the rhythm of decisions.

Bringing the strategy and its execution into one track is designed to close that gap: the first initiatives start while the plan is still fresh.

How it works

  1. 01 Strategy from assessment to commitment
  2. 02 Foundations execution plan, program and governance
  3. 03 Mobilize first initiatives under way

The strategy work runs in working sessions with your leadership team, each ending in a written result, one per chapter of the strategy. The program office, governance and benefits tracking start alongside. Building is not included: AI systems and the Tailored AI Gateway run through AI Solutions or a partner you choose.

How we tailor it

Always tailored to measure

The three tracks show a typical scope and duration. No two engagements are the same. Each one starts with a scoping conversation and is shaped around your goals, your data, your teams and your pace. Scope, phases, sessions and outputs are agreed with you in writing before we start.

  • Scope

Which parts we cover, and how many use cases or initiatives.

  • Pace and duration

How fast we move, set around your decisions and your calendar.

  • People

Who joins from your team, and who from ours.

  • On site or online

Where we work together, and how often.

  • Focused sessions

Which half-day sessions we add, for example on risk appetite or a value case.

Deliverables

  • An AI strategy in nine chapters
  • A shortlist of AI initiatives with value cases checked by finance, and a list of ideas to stop
  • An 18-month roadmap with owners, budgets and decision points
  • An execution plan per workstream
  • An AI operating model, with roles, decision rights and a profile for your AI lead
  • An AI register, policies and an approval route
  • A program office with a fixed decision rhythm, and governance running with a first quarterly report
  • Benefits tracking running, with today's figures signed off by finance

Common outcomes

Often reached during the track. Building is not included: it runs through AI Solutions or a partner you choose.
